*Tomorrow,* June 6 in Washington DC Alliance Guinea will participate in a roundtable for NGOs and others hosted by the US Department of State, and we would like to represent our members’ input on the following points:

1. What are the major obstacles to holding elections in 2012? What is at stake if elections aren’t held?
2. How might the US government support and encourage the holding of free and fair, participatory, timely elections?
