i must give kudos to the alliance team and also express my gratitude to the American government for their support in making sure there is peace and order in Guinea. the next thing i would want the sates department to do is to ensure that with co operation of the electoral commission in Guinea , there will be free and fair election.
further more , united states should also help guinea to establish a good system of governance in terms of freedom of speech of the pulic and private sector. after the elections which hope to be free and fair , america should not see guinea as a nation not to exploited in terms of natural resources but a nation to be guided on how to manage those resources for the betterment of the population and development of infrastructures in Guinea.
long live america, long live Guinea , long live Guinea youth. God bless you all

TRANSLATION

Personally, I congratulate the American government for the multiple efforts put forth favoring the return of constitutional order in Guinea and the extablishment of a State of Law and Good Governance. I recommend to the American government the following points:
-Help all actors and partners in working for the organization of elections that are inclusive, credible and accepted by all
-Support sending a meaningful number of American observers to oversee the electoral process
-Work with the different powers (CNT, news media, CNI) to ensure respect for the electoral rules and procedures
-Help Guinea restructure the Guinean army
-Help the Guinean judiciary fully carry out its mission
-Help combat impunity in Guinea

Those are my few recommendations.

I would like to see the US government 1) push for funds to finance the elections, 2) send in peacekeeping troops during the elections and 3) generally make themselves a presence so that any Guinean factions that may want to disrupt the process know that the world is watching.

I would also like them to strongly support bringing Dadis and the others responsible for the September 28th massacre to the Hague to stand trial for crimes against humanity. I believe that this is necessary for the Guinean people to move on into any new governing system- and be able to trust it.

They should also put their weight behind fair deals in the international mining sector for Guineans.

A new way forward,
Perhaps the composition of the "new" government rises serious doubts for a successiful transition to a democratic regime in Guinea. It looks like as if every body was avoiding the tough decisions, and try to please everyone. Sooner or later JMD will have to confront the CNDD hardliners. Let's not avoid our responsabilities and make sure that we do our part. fill out the survey "comment sauver la transition en Guinée?" at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7NLBSL3
